Note: Samples do not need to be returned all at once.
Collection kits do not expire or “go bad.” You may return samples and receive results whenever you are ready, in whatever increments are needed at that time.
HOW TO USE THE FUSARIUM DETECTION TEST:
- Tag Your Plant: Each kit comes with a tag to help you keep track of tested plants.
- Collect a Sample: Use the enclosed envelope to store a small tissue sample from your plant. Ensure the sample is free of dirt and chemicals. Samples must be free of dirt and chemicals (i.e. take your samples before applying any foliar sprays).
- Send for Analysis: Return your sample to our lab according to the enclosed instructions. We’ll analyze it and send you the results via e-mail within 1-5 business days.
Technical Details:
Farmer Freeman’s EZ-XY tests use a qPCR-based test that specifically targets the Fusarium oxysporum species for maximum accuracy in detecting variants.
